Synopsis. Notorious mob hitman Benjamin Sillman (played by Gary Lockwood) flees a federal prison in Arizona and arrives in Los Angeles, where he blackmails a former Newark mob associate, Steve Lathan (played by Roger Perry), into raising the $75,000 that that Lathan needs to pay West Coast underworld figure William Braden (Peter Mark Richman) for a fake passport and phony identification papers. Meanwhile, Erskine’s former partner, Tom Colby—now Special Agent in Charge of the Los Angeles bureau—assists Daniels and the inspector in tracking down Sillman before he flees the country.
