  1. THE LOPER GAMBIT

Synopsis. Financially overextended, and unable to tap into a trust fund left by his late father until he turns forty, playboy Ronald Loper (played by Robert F. Lyons) kidnaps stockbroker Kirk “Tice” Ticerman (played by Tom Lowell) and imprisons him in an abandoned Spanish fortress in the Florida keys as part of an elaborate scheme to get out from under. Though Loper assures his accomplices that he will return Tice to safety once the ransom is collected, Tice believes that his abductor intends to kill him. Erskine and Colby must rescue the stockbroker before Loper strikes.
