  1. MOMENT OF TRUTH

Synopsis. In Los Angeles, the savage beating of an Army private puts Erskine on the trail of H.D. DeWitt (played by Richard Carlson), a bank executive who fronts a loan shark racket that targets enlisted men with poor credit. The matter turns to murder when the private dies of brain trauma as a result of his beating. Unbeknownst to DeWitt, the private served in Saigon along with his son-in-law, Wally Shanks (played by Michael Witney), a former NFL player who is an unwitting pawn in DeWitt’s operation.
