Synopsis. Erskine believes that the theft of a $250,000 shipment of precision tool and die equipment thirty miles outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is related to four other trucking thefts with similar M.O.s. In each case, the stolen equipment surfaced on the black market in Eastern European countries, where it was sold quickly—and always purchased by a Communist buyer. Erskine, must prevent the leader of the hijacking ring, George Nasik (played by Louis Jourdan) from commandeering a $7 billion shipment of gold that is headed for India.
