  1. THE SATELLITE
    Original Airdate: Apr. 2, 1967

Synopsis. In Massachusetts, the kidnapping of the teenage son (played by Tom Lowell) of a wealthy industrialist (played by Tim O’Connor) takes a strange turn when the victim’s father receives two different ransom notes. One is from the actual kidnappers; the other is a phony demand (or, in Bureau parlance, a “satellite” extortion). Erskine has just a few hours to determine which is which.
