  1. THE FRAUD
    Original Airdate: Jan. 12, 1969

Synopsis. In Houston, latent fingerprints found at the scene of the shooting death of museum curator Nicholas Allen puts Erskine and Colby on the trail of Dave Miles (played by Roger Perry), an associate of mafia boss Frank Stocker (played by William Smithers). Miles can link Stocker to a multimillion-dollar operation involving the distribution of stolen and forged paintings. When news of Allen’s murder hits the papers, and La Cosa Nostra commissioners question the risk involved in the art scheme, Stocker realizes that he must eliminate Miles before the Bureau finds him.
