THE WEDDING GIFT

Synopsis. Bloodstains, latent fingerprints found in the abandoned getaway vehicle, and strands of hair from a wig put Erskine on the trail of the leading suspects of a bank robbery in Baton Rogue, Louisiana that that netted the thieves nearly $50,000. Unbeknownst to Erskine, the real mastermind is Della Marot (played by Penny Fuller), a restaurateur who has engineered a series of robberies to raise enough money to start a new life with her estranged twelve-year-old daughter (Erin Moran).
