Synopsis. Once-legendary safecracker Gus Benderson (played by Pat Hingle) finds that his skills have diminished after spending fifteen years in prison. After surfacing in San Pedro, California, Benderson hopes to quietly retire—only to be coerced by his son (played by Geoffrey Deuel) into one last jewel heist that’s worth at least $180,000.
