Synopsis. Curtis Stone (played by Roy Poole), a mentally imbalanced former actor who once served time for check forgery, extorts money from the wives of U.S. servicemen in Vietnam in a desperate attempt to raise money for operations that can treat his wife’s polio. Determined to stop the shakedowns, Assistant Director Ward prioritizes the matter and assigns the case to Erskine.
