TVC 654.5: From May 2011: A special edition of The Sounds of Lost Television in which Phil Gries plays audio highlights from The Andy Williams Show, a one-hour special featuring Ann-Margret, Dick Van Dyke, Andy Griffith, and Henry Mancini that originally aired on NBC on May 4, 1962. This special not only served as the pilot for the long-running music variety series that Williams hosted on NBC throughout the 1960s, but marked one of Mancini’s first on-screen television appearances.
