Coming soon to TV CONFIDENTIAL: Grammy nominated singer/actress KETTY LESTER on the backstory of her international No. 1 hit record, Love Letters (Straight from the Heart); the many angels who have graced her life, including Maya Angelou, Oprah Winfrey, and Michael Landon; and how her faith, and the values she learned from her parents, grounded her and guided her throughout her life and career. Ketty’s memoir, KETTY LESTER: A MEMOIR: From Arkansas to Grammy-nominated Love Letters to Little House on the Prairie, is the story of how a young girl from Hope, Arkansas, the youngest of fifteen children, not only opened many doors for many African-American women, both as a recording artist and as an actress, but overcame many obstacles throughout her life, including a recurring battle with epilepsy. KETTY LESTER: A MEMOIR is available at Amazon.com and wherever books are sold online. For our listeners in L.A., you can meet Ketty Lester on Sunday 2/20 at the Hollywood Heritage Museum, 2100 N. Highland Avenue in Hollywood, CA beginning at 2pm. Ketty will share stories of her life and career in a conversation with Alison Arngrim, while copies of her book and CDs of her music will both be available
