Synopsis. In Phoenix, Arizona, Erskine investigates the disappearance of an eighteen-year-old girl who, upon leaving for a quick getaway to Southern California with two newfound friends, doesn’t realize that she has been kidnapped. A photograph of the upholstery of an LTD Brougham plays a key role in the inspector’s effort to locate the victim.
