    Original Airdate: Jan. 2, 1966

Synopsis. An Amish-like group known as the Jobites experience hate crimes in the town of Stanton, a highly economically depressed forest community in southern Oregon that has also gone without rain for nearly one hundred days. The Jobites first became targets after outbidding a local pulp mill in the purchase of a plant building—an acquisition that many residents believe has cost them jobs. After his son is beaten up, Jobite leader Adam MacDonald (played by John Anderson) faces the threat of seeing the entire Jobite settlement burned down unless he pays five thousand dollars. Erskine and Rhodes head west to investigate.
