  1. SELKIRK’S WAR
    Original Airdate: Jan. 27, 1974

Synopsis. In Arizona, Erskine’s probe into the escape of two highly trained military specialists (played by Richard Jaeckel and Roger Robinson) from a military detention facility puts him on the trail of Edward Selkirk (played by Peter Haskell), a former military officer with a hair-trigger temper—and an ax to grind. Embittered at the army for refusing to promote him into a position of command, Selkirk plotted the escape of both prisoners as part of an elaborate scheme to rob the Arizona army base of its $750,000 payroll. What Selkirk doesn’t realize is that the men he recruited intend to cut him out of the operation once they pull it off.
