    Synopsis. Legendary bank robber Doc Lacy (played by John McIntire) masterminded a series of thefts that netted him nearly a million dollars—all before the age of twenty-six. Though incarcerated for the past twenty-seven years, he has been a model prisoner for the past ten years, likely due to a heart condition.
