Synopsis. In San Diego, a pair of prescription sunglasses found on the beach near a Navy depot puts Erskine on the trail of John McElroy (played by Don Grady), the playboy son of millionaire industrialist Doug McElroy (played by Murray Hamilton). John’s reckless behavior causes an accident that severely injures a Navy petty officer, while Doug is embroiled in a money-laundering operation fronted by a Mafia hitman.
