    Synopsis. In West Virginia, Erskine and Rhodes must determine the whereabouts of the men responsible for the escape of convicted murderer Larry Drake (played by Roy Thinnes) and the killing of three law enforcement officials—one of whom, Sheriff Abbott, was a personal friend of the inspector.
