Coming next week to TV CONFIDENTIAL: Radio host and renaissance woman Susan McCray on being one of the first female casting directors in television; working alongside Michael Landon for many years and how Landon stood for family-oriented programming; and how Cameron Mitchell always kept himself cool while filming The High Chapparal. Susan is the anchor of KALEIDOSCOPE, a colorful new Sunday morning magazine show that premieres Sunday 8/4 on our affiliate station, KSAV.org Share-a-Vision Radio. Susan is also the producer of KENT McCRAY: LOVE, LIFE AND TELEVISION, a new documentary about the life and career of her late husband, Kent McCray, producer of Bonanza, The High Chapparal, Little House on the Prairie and other TV series, and a longtime friend and collaborator of Michael Landon. KENT McCRAY: LOVE, LIVE AND TELEVISION is due out in December 2019
