Coming soon to TV CONFIDENTIAL: Actress, novelist, filmmaker, songwriter, composer, and minister ALISON MILLS NEWMAN on her seminal experience as an actress with the American Theatre of Being in Los Angeles; how she landed her first television role on MR. NOVAK (and the amazing rooting section of actors who joined her and her family at home on the night her episode aired); and the many artists who have blessed her throughout her career, including Frank Silvera, Nichelle Nichols, Diahann Carroll, Leslie Uggams, and Herb Alpert. Alison is the writer, producer, director, and star of THE TREE WIDOW, a series of faith-based films about a charismatic woman who changes the lives of the people she meets. You can watch The Tree Widow films on the Keep the Faith Films channel on YouTube. Alison is also the subject of SPIRIT SONG, a short film about her roots in music, which you can also enjoy on YouTube. Our thanks to CHUCK HARTER for bringing Alison to our program

Coming soon to TV CONFIDENTIAL: Singer, actress and comedienne Marilyn Michaels, America’s premier woman of a thousand faces and voices, on collaborating with her son, comedy writer Mark Wilk; the difference between an impressionist and an impersonator; and why it’s never a good idea to order halibut for delivery. Marilyn’s book, HOW NOT TO COOK FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, is not a cookbook, but it does offer a recipe for obtaining what you want in life without breaking your bank account or compromising your values. It’s also filled with great stories about Marilyn’s life and showbiz career. HOW NOT TO COOK FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE is available through Amazon.com and MarilynMichaels.com
