Coming soon to TV CONFIDENTIAL: Playwright and author JORDAN YOUNG on the TV career of SPIKE JONES (and the many ideas that Jones himself had for the medium); the bandleader’s collaborations with Bill Dana, Bud Yorkin, and Dick Tracy creator Chester Gould (and the unfortunate events that prevented Jones from working with Buster Keaton and Ernie Kovacs); and the integral role that Dr. Demento has played introducing Jones’ work to two new generations of fans. Jordan’s book SPIKE JONES, OFF THE RECORD: The Man Who Murdered Music has been updated and reissued with a host of new material, including more than 260 never before published photographs, scripts, arrangements, memorabilia, and more. SPIKE JONES, OFF THE RECORD: The Man Who Murdered Music is available through Bear Manor Media
