Synopsis. The Bureau’s efforts to take down a spy network are thwarted temporarily when Eric Cross, a man tasked with replacing an espionage agent known only as “Constantine,” is beaten and robbed at an eastern airport. Though he sustains a concussion, Cross holds onto a piece of microfilm that is intended for Constantine. With Bureau intelligence sources certain that none of the agents working for Constantine knows what Cross looks like, Erskine poses as Cross to flush out Constantine’s identity.
