  1. RETURN TO POWER
    Original Airdate: Feb. 15, 1970

Synopsis. The shooting of a U.S. border patrol inspector near the U.S./Canadian border in Idaho puts Erskine on the trail of Frank Di Mirjian (played by Richard Devon), a onetime courier on behalf of the Tennys and the Benders, two feuding Mafia families. Aware that his half-brother, current mafia capo Vincent Manion (played by Peter Mark Richman), has been skimming the profits of the Tenny family’s operation, Pete Tenny (Christopher George) re-enters the U.S. to present evidence against Manion at a mafia high commission in Chicago. The plan hits a snag, however, when Manion kidnaps Pete’s girlfriend, Maria Pierce (Lynda Day George), and threatens to kill her unless Tenny remains quiet. Working alongside Assistant Director Ward, Erskine and Colby must locate Di Mirjian and rescue Maria to bring down Tenny and Manion.
