    Synopsis. In Minneapolis, a mentally disturbed Korean War veteran plants a timed explosive in a high-rise office building and threatens to detonate it unless the Bureau arranges for the immediate release of his former Army commandera convicted bank robber who is currently serving time in a federal penitentiary for armed robbery, attempted escape, and murdering a federal guard. Erskine has less than thirty-one hours to locate the bomb and stop the threat.
