  1. TURNABOUT
    Original Airdate: Mar. 7, 1971

Synopsis. Erskine’s search for Richie Billings (played by Warren Oates)—the ex-con who drove the getaway car in the armored car robbery at a federal reserve bank in Monroe, Michigan—takes him to Cleveland, Ohio, where Billings also finds himself pursued by Joe Salka (played by Barry Russo), the syndicate operative who orchestrated the job. Though Salka had described the heist as “an easy score” that was worth about $100,000, the actual take was more than five times that amount. When Billings realizes how much money he’s carrying, he decides to run off to Canada along with his girlfriend, Alice Krantz (Joyce Van Patten), and keep it all for himself.
