  1. THE PLAGUE MERCHANT

    Synopsis. Needing money to fund an operation that would prevent the loss of his daughter’s leg, research chemist Edward Lennan (played by Arthur Hill) agrees to sell the formula to a new hand lotion to a foreign operative. Lennan makes the deal, unaware that the two flasks that he stole from his employer actually contain a plague culture that could wipe out the entire U.S. population unless it is kept refrigerated.
