Show No. 436, Hour 2 with guest Loretta Swit
Original Airdates: Feb. 1-3, 2019
Ed, Tony, and Donna accompany Emmy Award-winning actress, artist and animal rights activist Loretta Swit (M*A*S*H, SwitHeart: The Watercolour Artistry & Animal Activism of Loretta Swit) on a walk through Central Park as she discusses her efforts on behalf of all animals; her support of our veterans; how she keeps herself in shape; and why she will never retire. All proceeds from the sale of SwitHeart will be donated to Loretta’s endless campaign to end animal suffering and cruelty. Loretta Swit will be one of the three recipients of this year’s Icon Award at the annual Oscars party held in the Paladium in Hollywood on Sunday, February 24, the night of the Academy Awards. Also in this hour: Television historian Steve Beverly talks about his friendships with such game show legends as Bob Barker and Monty Hall. Steve hosts Steve Beverly’s TV Classics, a weekly three-hour TCM-like festival of classic TV shows from the 1950s and ‘60s that streams every week from EPlusTV Channel 6 in Jackson, TN.
