Coming soon to TV CONFIDENTIAL: Legendary Hollywood agent, talent manager, and raconteur BUDD BURTON MOSS on the origins of the Burton Moss Hollywood Golden Era Award, which honors legendary stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood; why Great Neck, New York was a haven for the likes of Charlie Chaplin and F. Scott Fitzgerald during the nascent days of motion pictures; and how Budd helped convince Elizabeth Montgomery to agree to star in Bewitched after she had originally turned it down. The late William Holden will be the next recipient of the Burton Moss Hollywood Golden Era Award; Stefanie Powers will accept the award on behalf of the Oscar-winning actor in a ceremony that will take place in early May as part of the Gold Coast International Film Festival in Great Neck, New York. For reservations and more information, call (516) 829-2570 or visit GoldCoastArts.org. Budd’s books ALL I GOT WAS 10 PERCENT and HOLLYWOOD: Sometimes Reality is Better Than the Dream are both available through Amazon.com; his next book, ACT III, is due out later in 2022
