Coming soon to TV CONFIDENTIAL: Award-winning actress, writer, and director ELLEN GEER on playing Sunshine Dore in Harold and Maude (and, later, playing Maude in a stage production of the film); why reading and watching the works of William Shakespeare is the best love affair you’ll ever have; and how she and her family have carried on the legacy of their father, WILL GEER, for more than forty years. Ellen is the artistic director of Will Geer’s THEATRICUM BOTANICUM, the outdoor ampitheatre in Topanga Canyon, California that Buzz magazine named one of the coolest places in L.A. The 2021 summer season of Theatricum Botanicum is under way right now and includes productions of two Shakespeare plays, Julius Caesar and A Midsummer’s Night Dream, and the new play The Last, Best Small Town every weekend thru Sunday 11/7. Under the Oaks, Theatricum’s annual Friday night salon series, runs Friday 9/3 thru Friday 9/24. See Theatricum.com for tickets and more information
