    Original Airdate: Feb. 25, 1968

Synopsis. Three men led by Frank Padgett (played by Steve Inhat) rob the guests at a party held at the Arizona home of multi-millionaire rancher Joseph Daly (played by Arthur Franz), then decide to kidnap Daly’s wife, Katherine (played by Anne Baxter), as insurance. To misdirect the authorities, one bandit, Tony Chandler, heads for Los Angeles, while Padgett remains with Kate. Though Padgett considers killing Kate, he keeps her alive upon realizing that she is a pilot who also knows her way around the desert. Meanwhile, after apprehending Chandler in L.A.—and upon learning that Padgett uses a transistor radio to monitor news reports on local radio station KNZT—Erskine enlists the help of Joseph Daly and the station to relay a coded message to rescue Kate.
