Our friends at Time Life continue to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of The Carol Burnett Show with the release of The Best of The Carol Burnett Show: 50th Anniversary Edition, the ultimate collectible of unparalleled TV comedy that becomes available at retail for the very first time beginning Tuesday, Aug. 6. Featuring every classic sketch of the Burnett show, The Carol Burnett Show: 50th Anniversary Edition, is a three-volume, twenty-one DVD box set that includes sixty handpicked episodes, all chosen by Carol herself.
Volume 1 is The Best of The Carol Burnett Show, featuring classic sketches from The Family, Carol and Sis, Mrs. Wiggins and As the Stomach Turns, plus movie spoofs, commercial spoofs, and some amazing bloopers.
Volume 2, Eleven Years: Together Again, opens up the CBS archives to experience Carol’s glory days, plus it include such bonus material as interviews with Carol Burnett, Tim Conway and Vicki Lawrence.
Volume 3, The Final Show, features the two-hour Carol Burnett Show finale from March 29, 1978, presented in original uncut double length two hour form.
