via MPI MEDIA GROUP: All thirty-nine episodes of CODE 3 (Synd., 1956-1957), the Dragnet-like series produced by Ben Fox and Hal Roach Studios, become available on DVD and streaming on demand for the first time on Tuesday 7/20 from MPI Media Group. Based on actual case files from the search and rescue branch of the Los Angeles Police Department, CODE 3 starred Richard Travis, Denver Pyle, and Fredd Wayne, while then-real life L.A. Sheriff Eugene W. Biscailuz appeared as himself at the end of most episodes.
