via MPI MEDIA GROUP: All thirty-nine episodes of CODE 3 (Synd., 1956-1957), the Dragnet-like series produced by Ben Fox and Hal Roach Studios, become available on DVD and streaming on demand for the first time on Tuesday 7/20 from MPI Media Group. Based on actual case files from the search and rescue branch of the Los Angeles Police Department, CODE 3 starred Richard Travis, Denver Pyle, and Fredd Wayne, while then-real life L.A. Sheriff Eugene W. Biscailuz appeared as himself at the end of most episodes. Guest stars include Dick Sargent, William Schallert, DeForest Kelley, Russell Johnson, Claude Akins, Mike Connors and many other familiar faces
