    Original Airdate: Feb. 19, 1967

Synopsis. A trio of overseas Communist operatives, led by elite World War II army commander Major Damian Sava (played by Edward Mulhare), arrive in the United States for the sole purpose of kidnapping Anton Dieter (played by Paul Lukas), a former Communist official whom the U.S. government has granted asylum, and holding him hostage in exchange for Frederic Sterne, a notorious Communist spy who is currently imprisoned in a federal facility in Atlanta. The plan hits a snag, however, when Sava murders an Army sentry who had tried to stop the major and his comrades after they landed ashore on a beach owned by the U.S. government. It does not take long for Erskine to realize that the two crimes are connected.
